A friend send me this personality test and I’m quite impressed with the results. This is the real me
Test your personality here: http://psychcentral.com/personquiz.htm

Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful & practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who’s extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expects the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over if that trust is ever broken.

So this is weird. I thought I wasn’t afraid of lizards. I know for sure I’m scared of cockroaches, but lizards? They had never bothered me in my entire life. Honestly, I don’t really know the English term for these little creatures but in Tagalog, it’s butiki. From afar they look harmless I might even consider them cute. But just a couple of days ago, I had an opportunity to take a closer look at their skin. I was eating spaghetti and then all of a sudden something fell from the ceiling. Thinking it was just dirt, I immediately grabbed the thing from the floor to throw it to the trashcan. I wasn’t really looking at it, I just felt that the thing was moving. What was that? When I double checked the trashcan I thought I saw a tiny crocodile. I was horrified when I realized that it was a live lizard! Eeeeew! I thought I’m gonna die! Perhaps it was a peculiar kind of lizard. Its skin really freaked me out. It has a zigzag mark at the back that looks like a tattoo. I can’t believe I touched it …

We usually start decorating our house for the Christmas season as early as Nov. 3 or just a few days after the Halloween. This is one of the many things that I love about Christmas. I really look forward to seeing all those flickering lights, the beautiful poinsettias, and the glittering tinsels. They make me excited!
We never experienced having a Christmas tree but it’s okay. We were contented with our home-made ornamental star-shaped lanterns
When me and my siblings were much younger, we used to make parols with colored plastics, crepe paper and bamboo sticks. We even put nametags on each lantern and we proudly showed them off to our friends and playmates. My sister who was the most creative among us, even got paid for doing a number of parols for some of our neighbors.
This coming Christmas, wouldn’t it be nice to have personalized christmas ornaments ? I chanced upon a website where I can personalize my own ornament in a few easy steps and it’s inexpensive, perfect for people like me who are in a tight budget
The website’s name is cafepress.com. They have a lot of creative designs that you will surely love! It’s so fast and easy. Just upload you favorite photo and then choose a template. Make your order now!

Last night, I was reading a featured article in an outdated newspaper and I couldn’t help but feel uneasy. The Queen of England was quoted saying “the washing of dirty linen in public is totally abhorrent.” Honestly, I felt inexplicable guilt after reading that article. Is it bad to write about the ugly things that are happening in my life? In my other blogs, I wrote things about being tardy, being broke, and being a totally nonsense person. Of course, I don’t want to parade too personal details about myself. Not only because I’m scared of the repercussion but simply because it’s not me. I guess, I was only looking for an outlet. So anyway, I am sometimes tempted to delete those posts because they make feel exposed and embarrassed but each and every time I was about to hit “delete,” I am also reminded of how much effort I’ve exerted in writing them. So instead of dwelling on the negative side, I made up my mind to focus on the nice and wonderful things about blogging. These are some of the many reasons why I simply can’t stop blogging:
- I get to meet a lot of people and a few nice friends
- I get opportunities to earn money
- It helps me forget about my stressful job
- My posts make me happy! Or my typo and grammatical errors make me laugh hihi
- It gives me something to do when I don’t want to do anything
- It’s a good reason to use my service incentive leaves (of course I wouldn’t tell my boss that I won’t be reporting for work because I need to update my blog, silly)
- It made me realize that my English is not hopeless, just a little erroneous, but not hopeless
- Writing keeps my sanity
And wait, did I say underdog? Well, not exactly. I just couldn’t find the right word as of this minute …

Would you believe that I never had the chance to play video games as a child? Well, yes, I didn’t and there is nothing really surprising about that. Maybe for my cousins who grew up in the States that’s weird but I grew up in a place where children play out in the streets amidst dust, pollution, flood and potential leptospirosis :) In our world, X-Box, Nintendo, and the likes are only seen on TV. We were contented with patintero and sungka and other traditional Filipino games.
Fortunately, I got the chance to play Super Mario. Thanks to my classmates in high school who introduced me to family computer. Later in college, I discovered that there are a lot of free games in the internet especially in Yahoo. My besfriend and I used to skip lunch just so we can save our allowance for computer rentals. And then, my brother taught me how to play counter strike and dota and he’s still convincing me to play Madden 10 with him. My little knowledge about such webgames made me think that I wasn’t being left behind when it comes to the latest in technology.
